Dear Elkhart,
As we start to finalize our plans for the 2008 festival season, we wanted to take this opportunity to touch base with you on the dates of the festivals and activities that are “set in stone” so that you can plan accordingly. We will try and keep with the same basic date structure of the 3rd weeks in May and September for the festivals and follow with Christmas activities when they are decided upon by other organizations (generally the first weekend in December). Obviously, trying to find a date in which nothing is going on regionally is virtually impossible and so we will just have to make do with keeping as much of a structure as possible.

December 6, 2008 Elkhart Community Christmas – Giant Flea Market- Zion Lutheran Elkhart Center
The committee that makes up the Elkhart Festival Association is a dedicated group of volunteers that have the same goals in mind that the village board has, to make this village better and make it grow. As always, we encourage your support of this Association. We thank you in advance for your patience as we feel the growing pains of taking on such a task and we welcome any and all suggestions and encourage you to take an active role during the festivals to increase the awareness of our town.
The success of these festivals and the simple goals will take a village effort to make it succeed. Please feel free to contact us for any questions, comments or concerns and we will do our best to keep you as informed as possible. .
